Our values

We work to ensure that every little dot has a language!

Being able to communicate is important, whether you are young or old.
We want to make language learning fun and inspiring, and our goal is for everyone to find great language development materials here.

Babbalrna is a very popular brand.
Ever since 2007, when they were first shown at the book fair, there have been books, games, music, movies and toys in the Babbles’ world.
All put together with care to form a fun and language-playing whole that includes all children.

The content of Babbles’ World is created specifically for children with language difficulties and is based on stages of early language development.
There is no exact age at which the different materials are most appropriate for each child.
It is up to the child’s development and their adults to decide when the different elements are appropriate for the child.

About screens and screen time

The music and movies in the world of Babbles have become extremely popular.
Now there are recommendations* that children under the age of two should have no screen time at all and children aged 3-5 should have a maximum of one hour per day.
These are welcome recommendations as they clearly state that it is not a good idea to use different screens to babysit children in order to give adults more time for themselves.
The recommendations are a good reminder that interaction, socialization and closeness are the most important aspects of children’s cognitive and language development.

We at both Filimundus and Hatten Förlag recommend parents and educators to use all our materials to create interaction with the children, play and have fun together!
In the joy of movement, sound games, turn-taking and role-playing, your child will develop in the best and safest way.

Our main interest is children and their parents/teachers and you can be sure that we will always act in your best interest. If you have any doubts or suggestions for improvement, please contact us at info@filimundus.se.
